Seed to Table Program

Our approach to sustainable food access, the Seed to Table Workshops are offered as a 12 week series, regularly throughout the year.

Each week, we discuss how to grow a different produce plant. Covering everything from how much sunlight and water are needed to fertilizing, pest management and harvesting. We will ensure that each participant is prepared for a successful growing season!

The first portion of the workshop is spent discussing growing experience, checking in on plants from the previous week as well as teaching how to grow the week's featured produce item.

Next we designate time for learning about the nutrients present in the featured item as well as discussing what our bodies do with each of the vitamins and minerals.

Lastly, we provide a cooking demonstration, teaching the participants how to prepare a healthy meal from the featured produce they will grow, sharing it together.
